Description

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 hoagie rolls
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook the chicken until it is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
  5. In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Cook until softened.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing it with the veggies.
  7. Place the chicken and veggie mixture into the hoagie rolls and top with provolone cheese.
  8. Cover the sandwiches and let the cheese melt before serving.
