A hearty, comforting dish that combines the beloved flavors of pierogies and kielbasa, all cooked conveniently in one pot.

- 3 packages of Mrs. T’s cheddar pierogies
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Begin by slicing the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
- In the crockpot, place half of the packages of Mrs. T’s cheddar pierogies at the bottom.
- Distribute the sliced kielbasa evenly over the layer of pierogies.
- Spoon in the cream cheese, allowing it to sit on the kielbasa and pierogies.
- Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth, fully covering the ingredients for even cooking.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top and season with salt and pepper to your taste.
- Add the remaining pierogies on top, followed by the remaining kielbasa, cream cheese, another 1 cup of chicken broth, and finish with the last bit of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours), until the pierogies are tender and the cheese has melted.
- Before serving, gently stir everything together to incorporate the flavors.
Notes
Can be paired with a simple green salad or crusty bread. Freezes beautifully for easy reheating.
