Description

A warm and savory Garlic Herb Bread that’s perfect for dipping and serves as a wonderful accompaniment to any meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm water (110°F to 115°F)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs (basil, oregano, thyme)
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Pour the warm water and olive oil into the bread machine pan.
  2. Add the bread flour, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs evenly over the liquid ingredients.
  3. Make a small well in the center of the flour and add the active dry yeast into this well.
  4. Close the bread machine lid and select the Basic or White Bread setting with your preferred crust color.
  5. Press the start button; the bread machine will mix, knead, rise, and bake the bread.
  6. When the baking cycle is complete, remove the bread pan and let the bread cool on a wire rack.
  7. Slice and serve as desired.

Notes

Serve warm with butter or olive oil. Store wrapped at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
