- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the melted chocolate.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the fresh raspberries.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Can freeze for up to three months.
