Description
Quick and easy Air Fryer Fried Rice transforms cold leftovers into a flavorful, crispy dish without the need for excess oil or stovetop cooking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold, leftover rice)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1–2 eggs (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, mixed vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Stir well to coat.
- Spread the rice mixture evenly in the air fryer basket and cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- If using eggs, pour in the beaten eggs during the last few minutes and stir gently until set.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving hot.
Notes
Always use cold, day-old rice for best texture. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for even cooking. Adjust seasonings at the end as flavors intensify while cooking.
