Description

Quick and easy Air Fryer Fried Rice transforms cold leftovers into a flavorful, crispy dish without the need for excess oil or stovetop cooking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice (preferably cold, leftover rice)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, bell peppers)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 12 eggs (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, mixed vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions. Stir well to coat.
  3. Spread the rice mixture evenly in the air fryer basket and cook for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  4. If using eggs, pour in the beaten eggs during the last few minutes and stir gently until set.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving hot.

Notes

Always use cold, day-old rice for best texture. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for even cooking. Adjust seasonings at the end as flavors intensify while cooking.
