Description

A fun and creative twist on the classic Big Mac, this pasta salad combines the beloved flavors of a burger with the ease of a salad, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (e.g. elbow macaroni or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (e.g. cheddar or American)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and let cool.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, ground beef, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  4. In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  5. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until well coated.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
