Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large firm apples (Fuji or Honeycrisp)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Small pinch of salt
- Light oil spray
Instructions
- Wash the apples thoroughly and slice into fry-shaped sticks, about ½ inch thick.
- In a medium bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch, and a small pinch of salt. Stir until blended.
- Add the apple sticks to the bowl and toss them well in the cinnamon mixture.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil and place the coated apple fries in a single layer.
- Air fry at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove from the air fryer and serve warm.
Notes
Use firm apples for the best texture. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to ensure crispiness.
