- 2 New England-style split-top buns or brioche hot dog buns
- ½ lb cooked lobster meat (claw + tail), chopped
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of cayenne for heat
- Melted butter for brushing buns
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Toss in the chopped lobster meat and warm it through.
- In a bowl, mix mayo, sour cream, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, salt, pepper, and cayenne if using.
- Add the sautéed lobster to the mixture and stir well.
- Brush the buns with melted butter and toast them in a skillet until golden and crispy.
- Load each toasted bun with a generous amount of the creamy lobster filling.
- Sprinkle with extra parsley or Old Bay seasoning, if desired. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Use freshly cooked or high-quality lobster meat for the best taste. Store leftover filling in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
