- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cucumber (grated)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- Fresh dill (optional, for garnish)
- Tomatoes and lettuce (for serving)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Let rest before slicing.
- For the tzatziki, mix grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl.
- Warm pita bread on the grill for a minute on each side.
- To assemble, layer sliced chicken, tzatziki, tomatoes, and lettuce in pita bread. Serve and enjoy!
