Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. On a sheet of parchment paper, spread the beef mixture into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.

  5. Carefully roll the beef from one end to the other, using the paper to help guide the roll.
