Description

A healthy and refreshing snack made with cucumber and tuna, perfect for warm days or a light meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large cucumber
  • 1 can of tuna (in water or olive oil)
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley) for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cucumber under cool water and pat it dry with a towel.
  2. Slice the cucumber into thick rounds or long strips.
  3. Open the can of tuna and drain excess liquid.
  4. In a bowl, mix the tuna with mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add chopped fresh herbs if desired.
  6. Spoon the tuna mixture on top of each cucumber slice.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Choose firm cucumbers for the best texture. For a creamy version, add more mayonnaise or Greek yogurt. You can also mix in other ingredients to the tuna for extra crunch.
