Description

High-Protein Overnight Oats are a creamy, no-cook breakfast made in a jar and chilled overnight. Packed with 30–40g protein per serving, they’re perfect for busy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats

1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk you like

1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder

1/2 tablespoon chia seeds

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey, to taste

Pinch of salt

Toppings: fresh berries, sliced banana, nut butter, or chopped nuts

Instructions

1. Add oats, protein powder, and chia seeds to a jar or small container and stir to combine.

2. Pour in the milk, then add Greek yogurt, vanilla, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Stir very well so there are no protein powder clumps and all oats are wet.

3. Taste the mixture and add a little more milk or sweetener if you like. The mix should be creamy but still pourable.

4. Cover the jar and place it in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight, so the oats become soft and thick.

5. In the morning, stir the oats, add a splash of milk if they are too thick, and top with berries, banana, nut butter, or nuts before serving.

Notes

Use rolled oats for best texture; quick or steel-cut oats won’t work well.

Stir thoroughly to prevent clumps from chia seeds and protein powder.

Store covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Add fresh fruit just before eating for best taste and texture.

Customize with mix-ins like cocoa powder, cinnamon, or nut butter.
