Description
Crispy parmesan crusted chicken longhorn made with juicy chicken breasts, ranch spread, provolone cheese, and golden breadcrumbs.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 eggs
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 slices provolone cheese
1/4 cup ranch dressing
2 tablespoons garlic herb spread
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Pound chicken breasts to ½-inch thickness.
2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
3. Set up dredging station with beaten eggs and breadcrumb-Parmesan mix.
4. Dip each chicken breast in egg, then coat in breadcrumb mix.
5. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
6. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden.
7. Remove skillet from heat.
8. Spread ranch and garlic spread over each piece.
9. Top with provolone and sprinkle remaining Parmesan.
10. Broil 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted.
11. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best crust.
