Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve warm with syrup or toppings of your choice.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 3–4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
