- 2 large steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, sear the steaks over medium-high heat for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove and let rest.
- In a baking dish, layer the sliced potatoes and drizzle with garlic butter, tossing to coat.
- Layer the seared steaks on top of the potatoes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.
Notes
