Description

A warm, comforting pot pie that combines all your favorite pizza flavors, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup pepperoni or other desired toppings
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a deep-dish pie pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, ricotta, and marinara sauce.
  4. Stir in pepperoni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Cover with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the top with egg wash.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
