- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup pepperoni or other desired toppings
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a deep-dish pie pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mozzarella, ricotta, and marinara sauce.
- Stir in pepperoni, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Cover with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges.
- Brush the top with egg wash.
- Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
