Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and stir everything gently.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure the shrimp are fresh or properly thawed if using frozen shrimp. Adjust seasonings to taste.
