Description

Delicious homemade bread bites, perfect for snacks or parties, with a cheesy flavor and aromatic herbs.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (or mozzarella for gooey texture)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh minced garlic)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano and basil)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Slowly add the lukewarm water and olive oil (or melted butter) to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough starts to form.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Add in the Parmesan cheese (or mozzarella) and knead a bit more to combine.
  5. Place your dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into small bite-sized pieces.
  8. Place the bread bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  10. Enjoy your freshly baked bread bites warm, perhaps with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!

Notes

For an extra cheesy bite, try adding some cheese on top before baking. Don’t skip the kneading step for better texture.
