Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese (or mozzarella for gooey texture)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh minced garlic)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano and basil)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Slowly add the lukewarm water and olive oil (or melted butter) to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough starts to form.
- Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Add in the Parmesan cheese (or mozzarella) and knead a bit more to combine.
- Place your dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Once risen, punch down the dough and shape it into small bite-sized pieces.
- Place the bread bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Enjoy your freshly baked bread bites warm, perhaps with a side of marinara sauce for dipping!
Notes
For an extra cheesy bite, try adding some cheese on top before baking. Don’t skip the kneading step for better texture.
