Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture and condensed milk to the flour, and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place in a greased loaf pan and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
Make sure the water is warm to activate the yeast. Knead well for the best texture.
