Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground chicken until browned.
  2. Add the onion and bell pepper, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, tomato sauce, and Worcestershire sauce; simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add milk and cheese to make a smooth cheese sauce.
  5. Toast the brioche buns.
  6. Assemble the Sloppy Joes by adding the chicken mixture to the bun, topped with cheddar cheese sauce. Serve immediately.
