Instructions
- Marinate the chicken breasts in buttermilk, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture, dip it in beaten eggs, and then coat it with breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- For the sauce, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, and a dash of cayenne in a bowl.
- Toast brioche buns in butter until golden.
- Assemble the sandwich with the crispy chicken, creamy sauce, and any additional toppings like lettuce or pickles. Serve hot.
Notes
