Description

Delicious and healthy meatballs packed with protein and nutrients, perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  6. Serve over whole-grain pasta or zucchini noodles with a side salad.

Notes

Finely chop spinach for better mixing. Use fresh garlic for best flavor. Adjust seasoning to taste.
