Description
These Twix Cookies taste just like the candy bar chewy, chocolatey, and drizzled with caramel. Perfect for holidays, cookie swaps, or sweet cravings.
Ingredients
Cookie Dough
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
Topping
20 to 25 mini Twix bars, chopped
½ cup soft caramel candies or caramel bits
2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
2. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
3. Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
4. Stir in chopped Twix bars gently.
5. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill for 15 minutes.
6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9–11 minutes, until edges are golden and centers are soft. Let cool.
7. Melt caramel candies with heavy cream in the microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
8. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cookies or dip each cookie halfway for a candy bar look.
Notes
If your dough feels too soft to scoop, chill it for an extra 10 minutes.
Add flaky sea salt for a salted caramel twist.
Twix can be swapped with Rolos or Snickers.
Store in an airtight container with a slice of bread to keep cookies soft.
