Description

Ingredients

  • 1 ball of pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 fresh jalapeños (sliced, seeds removed)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese (about 4 slices)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and lightly coat a pizza pan with olive oil.
  2. Work the pizza dough until it’s about 10 inches in diameter and transfer it to the pan lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a border.
  5. Top with mozzarella cheese slices, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and jalapeño slices.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
