- 1 ball of pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 fresh jalapeños (sliced, seeds removed)
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 6 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese (about 4 slices)
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped chives (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and lightly coat a pizza pan with olive oil.
- Work the pizza dough until it’s about 10 inches in diameter and transfer it to the pan lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a border.
- Top with mozzarella cheese slices, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and jalapeño slices.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
Notes
Serve hot with a fresh salad or ranch dressing. For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
