- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large pita bread or wraps
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Grill or cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest before slicing.
- In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and dill to make the sauce.
- To assemble the wraps, place some lettuce, slices of chicken, tomato, cucumber, and red onion on each pita.
- Drizzle with garlic yogurt sauce.
- Roll up the wraps tightly and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve warm with extra garlic yogurt sauce on the side. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
